A few early morning showers are possible on Monday but overall the day will be fairly calm. One thing you will notice in the afternoon is a big increase in humidity compared to what we enjoyed on Sunday. The heat indices can again reach around 90 °.
Scattered showers and storms will again be possible anytime from Tuesday morning to afternoon and even until Wednesday morning. It is still a little difficult to determine when and where there will be storms, but there will be around. Some storms could be strong with gusty winds and heavy precipitation. There is currently a LEVEL 1 in 5 for some severe weather during this time.
More rain and thunderstorms are likely to occur Thursday and Friday as weather conditions remain volatile. Additional heavy rains could occur. Temperatures can be maintained in the upper 70s due to increased cloud cover and the risk of rain.
Additional showers and thunderstorms are also expected for the coming weekend. It will be hot and humid, so any storm can produce more rainfall. Total precipitation over the next week can be 4 to 5 rain in some places!
