App Store pre-orders for ‘Diablo Immortal’ are now open

A new Diablo game is set to release on iPad, iPhone, and Android devices later this year, featuring an all-new story, competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes, and controller support.

First announced at Blizzcon 2018, “Diablo Immortal” takes place between the events of “Diablo II” and “Diablo III”. It features an all-new story that once again sets the characters free in Sanctuary. Players will need to band together to stop Skarn, the Herald of Terror, from resurrecting Diablo.

“The Diablo Immortal team is proud to create the opportunity for other battle-ready adventurers to battle the deadly demonic forces of Skarn and prevail,” A declaration from Blizzard reads. “We can’t wait for you to kill, loot, and explore Sanctuary once Diablo Immortal launches!”

Blizzard has revealed that if the game reaches 30 million pre-orders, the “Horadrim cosmetic set” will unlock for all players. It will be redeemable if the player completes the tutorial within 30 days of the game’s release.

According to Apple, “Diablo Immortal” will allow players to play as their favorite character classes, such as Barbarian, Necromancer, Demon Hunter, etc. The game will also feature controller support, brand new locations, and a constant influx of new content to keep players coming back.

Additionally, there will be cooperative and competitive game modes, allowing players to team up in dungeons and against each other in player versus player showdowns.
