Men’s basketball established a nationally ranked matchup on Friday in Upper Iowa

SIOUX FALLS, SD – The Augustana men’s basketball team hits the road for Fayette, Iowa, Friday for a 5:30 p.m. tip against Upper Iowa. The previously scheduled game at Winona State on Saturday was canceled due to COVID-19 protocols as part of the Winona State men’s basketball program.

The game

It will be a battle between two nationally ranked teams on Friday night as the Vikings are ranked No.23 in the latest NABC Top-25 while Upper Iowa holds a No.24 ranking. It will be the first time in 2021. – 22 that the Vikings face an opponent ranked as a NABC ranked team.
