Microsoft has opened up the new Windows 11 app store experience to Windows 10 PC users.

Devices running Windows 10 version 21H2 on the Windows Insiders Program Release Preview Channel may have seen the new Windows 11 app store when checking the Microsoft store for updates starting Tuesday.

The recently launched app store gives Microsoft customers clutter-free store navigation. It departs from the traditional WebView and is based on XAML (UWP) code allowing more stable performance even during slow internet connection, Windows Latest report.

The new store features a new library where users can search and manage their downloaded apps as well as the ones they own better than before. Microsoft has also improved the speed of each app download.

With the new Windows 11 app store, Windows 10 users would experience faster and better performance. The new store also allows them to easily navigate between different pages.

The new Windows 11 app store on Windows 10 allows developers to bring all types of apps and better support for win32 apps. Apps like Discord, Zoom, VLC, TeamViewer and Visual Studio Code are among the list of expected additions to the family.

The new app store is open to all Windows developers. Here, app developers can encourage users to do more with their devices through promotions. Developers will be allowed to create their own editorial content to inspire and communicate to users what their apps or game has to offer.

Microsoft introduced the new Windows 11 app store in June. Users of the Windows 11 Insider program have been enjoying its features ever since.

As the new app store is available through the Insider program, users running non-Insider versions can manually download the new Windows 11 app store to take advantage of its features.

First, they need to download and install the updated version from Microsoft Store and open the PowerShell. Using the cd command, locate the destination of the downloaded Store update and type Add-AppxPackage .

They can also choose to wait for the public rollout of the new Windows 11 app store on Windows 10 in the coming weeks, The Verge reported.

The United States will also formally accuse cyber actors affiliated with China’s State Security Ministry on Monday of carrying out the massive Microsoft Exchange Server hack that was disclosed in March.
