Rabbids really do move. They made their appearance in the Mushroom Kingdom, will take a trip to the stars in 2022, and from today, they take their antics to France, more precisely to the Palace of Versailles.
Indeed, Ubisoft has announced a new mobile application in partnership with the Palace of Versailles, a game suitable for young audiences with the aim of bringing children to a “learning experience” through the gardens through ten mini-games. in augmented reality.
The app is known as Rabbids @ Versailles, and is a free mobile game that was created not only to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Rabbids, but as a sponsorship for the castle itself. As for the way it plays, it’s designed as a family-friendly scavenger hunt that asks players to remove the Raving Rabbids from the Palace grounds, while simultaneously following in the footsteps of Lapin Crétin Louis XIV (a Rabbit Cretin version of the famous French king).
The problem with the experience is that it is only playable within the palace grounds, as it uses geolocation to automatically activate all ten games through the app, with the games acting as a learning experience by providing players information about the surrounding areas while playing.
If you plan to visit the Palace of Versailles in the near future, you can now download the application from the App Store and the Google Play Store, completely free of charge.
