Woman says Apple Store lost her Mac – CBS Sacramento

MODESTO (CBS13) – A Modesto woman says the Apple Store has lost her computer.

Corina Fezi dropped off her MacBook in the Apple Store at the Vintage Faire shopping center in Modesto to have a broken screen repaired. Her pickup date was June 23, but that day came and went without a computer.

“I have since called Apple Support and no one has a tracking number, no one knows where my computer is, no one has any information for me,” Fezi said.

She says she’s especially stressed because the computer has passwords she needs for work that she didn’t save before bringing it.

“Now my job is on the line, my computer is gone, it’s a mess,” Fezi said.

After we got involved, Fezi got his computer back. We asked Apple what happened, but they didn’t respond.

They only said:

” Thank you for following. We contacted the customer and came to a mutual resolution. Corina recovered her computer yesterday.

Fezi has a second computer, but without those passwords she couldn’t do her job. Apple has something called the iCloud Keychain which saves passwords. If you don’t remember all of them, be sure to use this feature.
