Wranga, an ecosystem for digital parents to raise their children in a safe and positive cyber environment, announced the launch of Wranga Canvas, a social hub whose vision is to nurture children in the digital world.

As the pandemic hit the world in 2020, a major boom in content, visual or audio, was seen in the digital world. Before the pandemic, internet consumption was under control, but with the advent of the internet, the rules for digital content consumption have made a significant leap.

Wranga Canvass is an initiative of Wranga which should be seen as a platform for parents to seek advice and find methods to mentor their children instead of supervising them. It’s a guide for you and your children to better navigate in the age of the Internet. It covers topics like digital parenting, digital mentoring, screen time monitoring for kids, and more.

But above all, Wranga Canvass makes the voice of many experts heard such as Stephen Balkam, founder and CEO of FOSI (Family Online Safety Institute), Sonia Livingstone, expert in social psychology, media and communications at the London School of Economics, Dr Sameer Hinduja , a professor at Florida Atlantic University’s School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and co-director of the Cyberbullying Research Center and more in the form of short clips and interviews that are personally interviewed by one of the founders, Amitabh Kumar, who is himself an expert in the field of online safety and digital parenting. Clips are to be released through the Wranga website as well as their social media platforms to mentor parents in the simplest form.

Amitabh Kumar, co-founder of Wranga, defines the vision of this platform as follows: “Wranga Canvass is a tool to build a positive culture of digital parenting, as we help parents make informed digital choices for their children. We have a team of renowned experts from around the world sharing tips and tricks.

About Wranga

Wranga is an ecosystem for digital parents to raise their children in a safe and positive cyber environment.

Founded by four partners, Amitabh Kumar, Ashish Jaiman, Manish Tiwari and Sarada Prasanna Das, Wranga is set to launch its first-ever innovative app this year, to provide you with an online platform for content ratings, reviews and personalized recommendations for your child, helping you better navigate the digital world for your children.

The consequence of the digital revolution has been an explosion of content, mostly in the digital space with very little oversight or control for children and young adults. Historically, audio and visual content was consumed in a controlled way, but that has completely changed with the advent of the internet age. Wranga is your friend, philosopher and guide who helps you better navigate the digital world for your children.
